Meet your pregnancy support sister

this isn’t just a job to me, it’s a calling.

MY journey to SUPPORTING WOMEN IN PREGNANCY & BEYOND

My journey into birth work began with the arrival of my first child. I had planned a natural birth, but that vision quickly unraveled the moment I entered the hospital. With my second, I was determined to do things differently. I chose midwifery care, hired a birth doula, and immersed myself in natural birth preparation. I fell in love with the process and the transformation it brings.

Still, even with a supportive team, I often felt alone and overwhelmed; craving more personalized guidance, reassurance, and reliable information. My midwives were wonderful, but the time between appointments left me navigating natural birth preparation on my own. I knew I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. That’s why I’m passionate about helping couples feel confident, supported, and at peace as they prepare for a natural birth.

more about my “why”

I’m a planner by nature. Early in my birth preparation, I thought that I might miss something like the best advice out there to have a natural birth. Because of this I constantly felt like I wasn’t doing enough to prepare—leaving me stressed and on information overload. I craved reassurance from other moms with natural birth experience and, at times, I wrestled with doubt and being overwhelmed by the process.

I was vulnerable and deeply in need of support. I believe many women feel this way but have trouble asking for help, especially when they’ve never experienced a natural birth. I found so many parallels between labor and faith; educating myself to gain knowledge and wisdom, but ultimately surrender and trust. It’s not easy, but it’s powerful. Preparing for a natural birth is a transformative process that doesn’t happen overnight, similar to our walk of faith. I leaned on my faith more than ever and my experience was shaped through prayer, surrender, and God’s power.

Now, I’m here to:

  • Combine education and real-life experience to support you and your partner in preparation for natural childbirth

  • Share evidence-based resources on prenatal care, labor, and birth

  • Remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made; fully equipped to grow, birth, and nurture life

  • Empower you to embrace your femininity through pregnancy, birth, and beyond

  • Help cut through the overwhelm so you can feel confident, informed, and supported, strengthening your faith in the process

Let’s walk this journey together with preparation, purpose, and peace.

LET’S CLAIM YOUR BIRTH AS YOUR OWN

Did you know many prenatal providers are not up to date on the research surrounding pregnancy and birth? Some common practices today are outdated and not supported by current evidence. My experience of receiving misinformation and lack of choice and informed consent is all too common, leading to poor outcomes and birth trauma. As an Evidence Based Birth® Professional member, I am able to support you with the current evidence, allowing you to advocate for the birth you want.
